Foundation
In 1999, after a very successful 15 year career in woodworking machinery sales, Ron Boose founded RT Machine Company in Chambersburg, PA. He was joined in this venture by long time friend and fellow Sales Professional, Steve Minderjahn. In a relatively short period of time, RT Machine Company has grown into one of the largest industrial woodworking machinery dealers in North America. This growth enabled Ron to expand and relocate the company into a sprawling 80,000 square foot facility in the Williamsport, Pennsylvania area in 2005. The Williamsport area has great historical significance to the woodworking industry. In the late 1800’s the area was known as “The Lumber Capitol of the World” because during peak production lumber mills in the Williamsport area had the highest level of lumber production in the world.

Today we are proud to serve the woodworking industry from Hughesville, Pennsylvania about 15 minutes from downtown Williamsport. With over 100 years of combined experience in the woodworking machinery business, we work with our customers to provide the best machines for any application.
