• Unix has been developed for fast setup and high flexibility. It has a setup- system to control your settings and later to store them for later use. Next setup will be fast and safe. Unix has unique system for handling small narrow items. Solid items that are not 100% straight, the clamping system will correct to secure items to be drilled in correct position. The Machine frame is made of folded material. This provides a large stiffness. This, together with the processed frame rails provides a high precision.
• Programming / Control system: The machine is equipped with PLC Control system and a 15” colour TFT touch screen display, where all necessary information is given. E.g. you can program for cleaning of bottom hole, cleaning of deep hole, cross drilling, cycle order and many other functions can be programmed. The machine will be delivered with PLC supported adjustment. All necessary data for adjustment can be saved as a program and helps the operator whenever something is to be adjusted for a new assignment.
• If the assignment is known you just have to find this program and the machine helps / controls that groups are correctly adjusted. The machine has got digital measuring system in the x-axis on the upper and the back drill groups. The correct position of the different drill groups, that are necessary for a certain job, is automatically loaded from the program and to assure that the correct position is found in seconds. The operation is guided by a light system.
• It is possible to copy, adjust and erase programs if you want to. This does not only save a lot of time but it also ensures that you adjust correctly. The digital system controls current that the drilling groups are in the correct position,. You have Windows system in the background, where you can store information’s belonging to your settings.
• The drilling head are made of steel and aluminium designed for high rotation at 4000 rpm. Spring lock system is used to ensure a quick mounting of the head. The drilling head is equipped with system for fixation of the drilling head in 0° and 90°. Standard drill holders for direct ø10 mm shaft, but different systems of quick shift system are possible as option. Also special drilling boxes are available.
• Drilling groups: Is a single unit with adjustment of drilling depth, bottom hole cleaning, z-movement control and clutch flange for mounting of drilling-box? The drilling group is adjustable in x-direction (the longitudinal direction of the machine) y-direction about 140 mm drilling depth is max. 80 mm with a maximum stroke of 100 mm, the high rotation number at 4000 rpm ensures a fine drilling quality and a high capacity. Drill group can be adjusted 70 mm, for optimizing the drill distance from drill to work piece. Omnia has got digital measuring system in the x and y axis, for setting the upper drill groups. The drilling depth is manual adjusted by spindle and mechanical counter. The locking of the groups is manual handled with clasp clutch.
• Hopper / Magazine: Pneumatic magazine with ergonomics and user friendly access. Automatic fixation to the zero point by a pneumatic counter clamp with polyurethane and nylon covering for careful handling of the component. • Side-movement function: Moving all groups to a new position and back. Very useful for copy holes or holes with small distances between. Possible for both top and back drilling units. Mounted top and back.
